By Johnny MendezI wanted to share some news with you personally. Buck & Associates will be closing on March 31st, 2026, after 50 wonderful years serving Arlington. This came as a surprise to all of us, and it's bittersweet to say goodbye to such a community institution.
Buck has meant a lot to me personally. Ever since I was a kid, I'd pass by their office to and from school every day. Working there for the past 6 and a half years as a proud Arlingtonian has been a real treat, and I'm grateful for the doors they've helped open for me. I'm especially sad to leave the family-like environment we had at the brokerage. It's something that simply can't be replicated in today's world of real estate.
I'm still very much in real estate and will be moving to a new brokerage. As a real estate agent, I need to affiliate with a brokerage to practice, but my commitment to serving you remains exactly the same. I've been exploring options and have found an excellent new home for my business. I'll share those details with you soon.
